Abstract

Migraine is an episodical headache which accompanied by some neurological, gastrointestinal and autonomic changes. Although lots of hypothesis made for etiopathogenesis of migraine exact pathophysiology is not known yet. Helicobacter pylori infection has recently been associated with various extraintestinal pathologies. The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation of the Helicobacter pylori infection with the presence of migraine attack. We found an increased prevalence of migraine in our Helicobacter pylori positive cases.
