Abstract

Some systemic diseases of children are important for the dentists since the oral findings of them can enable to establish the diagnosis at an early stage. Moreover, the complications of diseases or the side effects of the medicines may require the dentists to take some precautions with regard to the treatment options and/ or medicines planned to be prescribed. For all these reasons, it was aimed to review some gastrointestinal diseases in children with respect to dentistiy.

Özet

Diş hekimleri için çocuklardaki bazı sistemik hastalıklar, bu hastalıklara bağlı olarak meydana gelen ağız bulgularının hastalığın erken tanısına imkan sağlaması açısından önem taşımaktadır. Ayrıca, ilgili hastalıkların komplikasyonları veya kullanılan ilaçların yan etkileri diş hekimlerinin uygulayacağı tedaviler ve/veya kullanacağı ilaçlar açısından bazı önlemlerin alınmasını gerektirebilir. Tüm bu nedenlerden dolayı bu derlemede çocuklarda görülen bazı gastrointestinal sistem hastalıklarının diş hekimliği açısından gözden geçirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.
