Abstract

Traumatic injuries involving teeth and surrounding tissues are commonly encountered in children. Avulsion is described as the total displacement of the tooth out of its socket and it is more frequent in the primary dentition compared to the permanent dentition. In the present literature review; avulsion injuries, healing types, splinting, treatment methods, treatment alternatives like autotransplantation and current studies on avulsion injuries were involved.

Özet

Diş ve destek dokularını içeren travmatik yaralanmalaraçocuklarda sık rastlanmaktadır. Bu yaralanmalardanavülsiyon, dişin soketinden tamamen çıkması olaraktanımlanır ve süt dişlenme döneminde daimi dişlenmedönemine göre daha fazla meydana gelir. Buderlemede avülsiyon yaralanmaları ve bu yaralanmalarsonrası görülen iyileşme şekilleri, tedavi yöntemleri,splintleme şekilleri, ototransplantasyon gibi tedavialternatifleri ve bu konuda yapılmış son dönem çalışmalarhakkında bilgiler verilmiştir.
