Abstract

Advances in dental materials and in their application along with new techniques into daily clinical practice of restorative dentistry have revolutionized the conventional prosthetic laboratory procedures. The purpose of this article is to introduce the basic principles of Sirona Dental CAD/CAM Systems’ laboratory part which is routinely used at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at Hacettepe University in association with clinical cases.

Özet

Diş ve implant destekli sabit protetik restorasyonların yapımında kullanılan dental materyaller ve uygulama tekniklerindeki gelişmeler geleneksel laboratuvar uygulamalarında da kalıcı değişikliklerle sonuçlanmıştır. Bu makalenin amacı Hacettepe Üniversitesi Dişhekimliği Fakültesi Protetik Diş Tedavisi Anabilim Dalı klinik ve laboratuvar uygulamalarında güncel kullanıma geçirilen bilgisayar destekli tasarım ve üretim (Computer Aid Design and Manufacturing CAD/CAM) sistemlerinden Sirona Dental CAD/CAM Systems laboratuvar uygulamalarını tanıtmaktır.
