Abstract

With the advancing technology in vitrectomy surgery, revolutionary changes have occurred. Improvements in the imaging and vitrectomy systems have made the operation process more practical and comfortable, and have led to significant success in the postoperative period. 3D imaging systems, which entered into ophthalmology practice in 2008, and hypersonic vitrectomy systems, which started to practice ophthalmology as a new technology in 2017, have gained new perspectives in vitrectomy surgery.

Özet

Vitrektomi cerrahisinde gelişen teknolojiyle beraber devrimsel değişiklikler yaşanmıştır. Görüntüleme ve vitrektomi sistemlerindeki gelişmeler, ameliyat sürecinin daha pratik ve konforlu olmasını sağlamakla birlikte ameliyat sonrasıda önemli başarılar elde edilmesini sağlamıştır. 2008 yılında oftalmoloji pratiğine giren 3D görüntüleme sistemleri ve 2017 yılında yeni bir teknoloji olarak oftalmoloji pratiğine girmeye başlayan hipersonik vitrektomi sistemleri, vitrektomi cerrahisinde yeni bakış açıları kazandırmıştır.
