Severe acne may result in cosmetic disfiguring if treatment is not started early. In addition, it may badly affect patients' personal relationship and self-confidence.' We performed a study on the treatment of postadolescent female acne that is recently defined a clinical form of acne resistant to conventional treatment modalities.
