Abstract

Gifted and talented pupils have been supported during the Turkish history with different educational opportunities. Science and Art Centers SaAC are the last chains of these opportunities for gifted and talented pupils, and they are country spread after school programs. One of the main problems of SaAC is the lack of specific curriculums. Teachers, who struggle with this problem, have different trials to exceed it. It is also important to determine how these trials were successful as well as carrying out the activities. This research aims to evaluate the curriculum that developed by the researchers for teaching the problem-solving skills. The data was collected with interviews and Critical Thinking Skills Scale. The evaluation has conducted under three dimensions and the results revealed that the students’ knowledge about the problem concept has expanded, and the critical thinking ability has positively changed after the implementation. And the interviews that conducted with students and parents have shown that the curriculum has social validity
