Abstract

With increasing number of intravascular therapies, intravascular foreign bodies became more frequently seen clinical problems. Percutaneous approach is widely accepted as the best way of intravascular foreign body removal. In this report, we aimed to present the percutaneous removal of intravascular retained guidewires with endovascular snare technique in two cases. The guidewire was lost intravascularly during endovenous laser ablation in one patient and during transfemoral central venous catheter insertion in the other patient.

Özet

İntravasküler tedavilerin sayısının artmasıyla birlikte, işlem sırasındaki hatalı uygulamalar sonucu bırakılan veya unutulan intravasküler yabancı cisimler daha sık karşımıza çıkan klinik bir sorun haline gelmektedir. Perkütan yaklaşım, intravasküler yabancı cisimlerin çıkarılmasında yaygın kullanılan ve kabul edilmiş en iyi yöntemdir. Bu yazımızda, biri endovenöz lazer ablasyonu, diğeri ise femoral geçici kateter takılması sırasında olmak üzere intravasküler bırakılan kılavuz tellerin perkütan yolla kement (snare) yöntemi kullanılarak çıkarılmasını iki olgu sunumu üzerinden tartışmayı amaçladık
