Abstract

Our aim is to show that carotid to innominate artery bypass can be done safely in a symptomatic patient with aneursymatic and nearly totally occluded common carotid artery to whom endarterectomy or stent grefting can't be done. Innominate artery to common carotid artery interpozition with a greft was done to a 54 years old male patient with a complain of dizziness on left arm and a history of syncope, without opening the pericard. Incision was made to the carotid arterial side and combined by the median stemotomy incision.
