Abstract

This paper is concerned with deformed surfaces by erosion in the Central part of the Eastern Blacksea region. In the area under study erosion surfaces dedicated to Miocene and Pliocene have been former. -It is found out that in pliocene deformed surfaces which had occurred in miocene were to a large exlent shrinked due to the effects of erosion, and the newly developed surfaces of the pliocene age covered a large Thus, deformed surfaces area. of the miocene age which were higly fractured and progressively narrowed because of deformations were replaced by deformed surfaces of the pliocene, formed at lower altitutes and alongside river basins.
