Abstract
Kiwifruit production in our country is showing a rapid increase, at the same time this consumption is becoming widespread. However, there are various problems in terms of quality in kiwi production. As a result of not being able to produce kiwi fruit in the quality that consumers desire, it can cause serious problems in marketing. Especially with increasing consumer awareness and superior quality fruit requisition, this topic is becoming more important. Fruit production of good quality in kiwi cultivation is actually starting with adequate ecology and selection of seedlings, reaching to the harvest and even storage. Main factors affecting fruit production of good quality in kiwi cultivation can be ordered as a number of stems remained in the winter pruning and buds on them, the intensity and time of buds and fruit thinning, using as sapling of clones that non misshaped fruit, rate of male/female plant in kiwi vineyard, climatic conditions in the flowering period and after, use of the vector in the flowering period, the use of plant growth regulators, cultural technics such as irrigation, fertilization and harvest time. In this study, these factors which are effective in the production of good quality kiwifruit were investigated in detail and suggestions for quality improvement were made.

Kivi üretimi ülkemizde hızlı bir artış göstermekte, buna paralel olarak tüketimi de giderekyaygınlaşmaktadır. Ancak kivi üretiminde kalite yönünden çeşitli sorunlar yaşanmaktadır. Tüketicilerinarzu ettiği kalitede kivi meyvesi üretilememesi sonucunda ise pazarlamada ciddi sorunlaryaşanabilmektedir. Özellikle artan tüketici bilinci ve yüksek kalitede meyve talebi ile birlikte bu konudaha da önem kazanmaktadır. Kivide kaliteli meyve üretimi aslında uygun ekoloji ve fidan seçimindenbaşlamakta, hasada ve hatta depolamaya kadar uzanmaktadır. Kivi yetiştiriciliğinde kaliteli meyveüretimine etki eden başlıca faktörler; kış budamasında bırakılan bir yaşlı dal ve bunlar üzerindeki gözsayıları, tomurcuk ve meyve seyreltmelerinin şiddeti ve zamanı, bozuk şekilli meyve yapmayan klonlarınfidan olarak kullanılması, kivi bağındaki erkek/dişi bitki oranı, çiçeklenme dönemi ve sonrasındaki iklimkoşulları ile vektör kullanımı, bitki büyüme düzenleyicilerin kullanım şekli, sulama, gübreleme gibikültürel bakım işlemleri ve zamanında hasat yapılması şeklinde sıralanabilir. Bu çalışmada kaliteli kiviyetiştiriciliğinde etkili olan bu faktörler ayrıntılı olarak incelenerek kalite arttırmaya yönelik uygunöneriler yapılmıştır.
