Abstract

This study was performed to investigate the effects of sodium bicarbonate added to concentrate diets of quails in heat stress on egg production, quality and some blood parameters. Japanese quails were divided into two groups of six replications. A total of 84 Japanese quails were used in the experiment. Animals were divided into two groups as control and $NaHCO _3$ (1%) consuming concentrate diet with same energy and protein levels. Post-experiment mean body weight and daily egg production were 215.79, 229.43 and 69.59, 83.11 (p>0.05) in control and $NaHCO _3$ groups, respectively. Mean feed efficiency rate was also 3.15, 2.50 in groups (p

Özet

Bu çalışma, yaz döneminde sıcaklık stresi altındaki bıldırcın karma yemlerine katılan sodyum bikarbonatın ($NaHCO _3$), yumurta verimi ve kalitesi ve bazı kan parametreleri üzerine etkisini araştırmak amacıyla yapıldı. Japon bıldırcınları her biri 6 tekerrürlü iki gruba ayrıldı.
