Abstract

Immunological changes have an important role in the etiopathogenesis of Behçet's disease. Inflammation derived by immunological mechanisms is responsible from the signs and findings of disease. Behçet's disease is an inflammatory disease taken form in the predisposant persons by stimulation of lymphocytes, neutrophils, endothelium cells, and monocytes by the environmental factors such as viruses and bacteries and various cytokines joined in the event. In this study we accepted 15 active Behçet's disease patients (6 female and 9 male), 14 inactive Behçet's disease patients (6 female and 8 male, 10 active and 15 healthy control cases (6 female and 9 male). CD 4 (+) T lymphocytes from T lymphocyte groups exhibited decreasing in patients with active Behçet's disease as compare them with healthy controls (p0.5). The values of CD8 (+) T lymphocytes in patients with active Behçet's disease was significant differences as compared to healthy control (p>0.2). The significant differences was not obtained among active and inactive Behçet's disease, and healthy controls (p>0.2). Many factors play role in etiopathogenensis of Behçet's disease. Etiopathogenesis of the disease has not yet been clear so far, although these factors have investigating for the disease occur. It is needed further studies to make clear etiopathogenesis of the disease.
