Abstract
Separation of teeth from denture base is a frequently occuring problem. In order to eliminate this problem, the surfaces of teeth which are bonded to denture base are abrased, grooves are made and bonding is improved by chemical materials. In this study, bond between the acrylic resin teeth and denture base was evaluated. Totally 60 maxillary central incisor teeth were selected. 20 from each product. Samples were divided into two groups. To the first group, heat polimerization acrylic resin, to the second group palabond plus heat polimerization acrylic resin were applied, than shear test was done. Palabond applied optodent teeth samples had the highest shear value.
Özet
Dişlerin protez kaidesinden ayrılmaları sıklıkla rastlanan bir problemdir. Bu problemi ortadan kaldırmak amacı ile dişlerin protez kaidesine bakan yüzeyleri aşmdırılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada akrilik rezin dişlerin protez kaidesine bağlantıları değerlendirildi. Herbir marka dişten 20 adet olmak üzere toplam 60 adet maksiller santral diş seçildi. Örnekler iki gruba ayrıldı. 1.gruba ısı ile polimerize olan akrilik rezin, ikinci gruba ise palabond+ısı ile polimerize olan akrilik resin uygulandı ve örnekler makaslama testine tabii tutuldu. En yüksek kopma değerini palabond uygulanan optodent diş örnekleri verdi.
