Abstract

Objective: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the obstetric and perinatal outcomes of a single value positivity in the 100 gram Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT). Materials and Methods: 80 patients with single positivity of 100 gr OGTT, and 122 control patients with normal fasting blood glucose and 50 gr OGTT were included to this retrospective study. Macrosomia, primary cesarean section, polyhydramnios, 1st and 5th minute apgar scores and hospitalization rates to the neonatal intensive care unit were compared between the groups. Results: While the rate of macrosomia was 18.8% in the patient group, it was 9% in the control group, the difference was statis- tically significant (P = .04). While the rate of primary cesarean section was 22.5% in the patient group, it was 11.5% in the control group (P = .03). While polyhydramnios was seen in 7.5% of the patient group, it was seen in 1.6% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P = .03). The number of fetuses with a 1st minute apgar score

Apgar skoru her iki grupta karşılaştırıldığında; 1.dakika apgar skoru
