Abstract

Aim: The aim of this retrospective study is to evaluate Demirjian and Moorrees methods used in the evaluation of tooth development stages by two different researchers and determine the compliance between researchers. Material and Methods: In this study, 382 panoramic radiographs were evaluated by two different researchers in terms of the development stages of premolar and molar permanent teeth by using Demirjian and Moorrees methods. After the evaluation of the intra-examiner kappa test scores for each researcher found sufficient, also the inter-examiner Kappa test scores were evaluated to determine the compliance between these two researchers for each evaluation method. According to the statistical analysis, significance between the values was accepted as p
