Abstract

In this study frankfurter-type sausages samples have been collected from retail markets as unvacuum and vacuum packaging and investigated for the presence of pathogenic. Yersinia enterocolitica. In conclusion 40 out of 5 samples (4 unvacuum, 1 vacuum) were found to be Y. enterocolitica positive. Isolates were also investigated for their virulence characteristics and pathogenic types were not detected according to results of pathogenicity tests and biochemical reaction related to pathogenicity.

Özet

Çalışmada Ankara piyasasından toplanan, açık ve vakum paketli olarak satılan sosis örneklerinden patojen Yersinia enterocolitica izole edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda selektif besiyerindeki koloni görünüşleri ve biyokimyasal reaksiyonlarına göre incelenen 40 örneğin 5 tanesinde (4 açık, 1 vakum paketli sosis örneği) Y. enterocolitica izole edilmiştir. Elde edilen izolatların virulanslıklarını belirlemek amacıyla yapılan bazı patojenite testleri ve patojenite ile ilgili biyokimyasal reaksiyonlarına göre virulans özellikte izolat saptanamamıştır.
