Abstract

Media industry is based on a symbolic production process through which social communication and relations are publicly circulated. When media space is thought together with today's discussions such as "censorship-autocensorship", "monopolization", "precarity", "freedom of thought", "control", "deskilling", "advocacy" and "embedded journalism", the analysis of the class relations of this space becomes much more critical. In this study, media is examined under three subtitles: media as a space of capital accumulation, media as a space of class struggle and media as a means of class struggle.
