Abstract

Stab wounds to the gluteal region are uncommon and potentially lethal, and the location of injury influences the rate and severity of associated injuries. We report an unusual case of a inferior gluteal artery rupture without stab wounds. Angiography revealed an injured inferior gluteal artery, which was successfully embolized.
