Yaşadığı dönemden itibaren insanların İbnü'l-Arabî'ye bakışları genel itibariyle üç şekilde olmuştur. Şeyhin yüceliğini kabul edenler, şeyhi dalâlet ve küfürle itham edenler, yorum yapmayıp sesiz kalanlar. Bu makâlede ilk gruba girenlerin İbnü'l-Arabî'yi dalâlet ve küfürle itham edenlere karşı verdikleri fetvâlar ele alınmıştır.
