Abstract

This paper considers assessment of diggability that is very difficult to predict in surface coal mining. After the definition of the factors affecting diggability, it then reviews the method that can be used during pre-planning stage. Then, the soil and rock samples obtained from Afşin—Elbistan (B) coalfield is classified according to various diggability classification systems.

Özet

Bu çalışmada, kömür açık işletmeciliğinde önceden belirlenmesi çok güç olan kazılabilirlik konusu işlenmektedir. Kazılabilirliği etkileyen parametreler tanıtıldıktan sonra, bunların kazı çalışmaları öncesi, planlama aşamasında, belirlemek üzere yararlanılan teknikler anlatılmıştır. Daha sonra Afşin-Elbistan (B) kömür sahasından alınan zemin ve kaya örnekleri değişik kazılabilirlik sınıflandırmalarına göre değerlendirilmiş ve sahadaki örtü tabakasını oluşturan katmanlar sınıflandırılmıştır.
