Abstract

Although fibroma is the second most common benign cardiac tumor following rabdomyoma, its incidence is quite low. Fibromas causing ventricular outflow tract obstruction, arrhythmia, and/or severe valvular dysfunction necessitate surgical resection. An infant with asymptomatic clinical course, despite having a giant right ventricular fibroma was reported herein.

Özet

Kardiyak fibrom, rabdomiyomdan sonra en sık görülen benign kardiyak tümör olmasına rağmen insidansı olduk- ça düşüktür. Çıkış yolu obstrüksiyonuna, aritmiye veya ciddi kapak disfonksiyonuna yol açtıklarında cerrahi mü- dahale gerektirirler. Bu yazıda oldukça büyük olmasına rağmen asemptomatik seyir gösteren fibromlu bir süt çocuğu sunuldu.
