Abstract

Introduction: A case of giant renal angiomyolipoma in a 47-year-old woman without tuberous sclerosis is reported. She was presented with abdominal fullness and pain. A computer tomography scan revealed massive left renal tumor and she was diagnosed as having renal angiomyolipoma. Nephron-sparing surgery without warm ischemia was carried out after selective angioembolization of tumor mass. The resected specimen weighed 3800 g. This is one of the largest such tumors ever reported.
