Abstract

Introduction: In recent years, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PNL) has become a routine procedure in the treatment of renal calculi. PNL is generally a safe treatment option and associated with a low complication rate. One of the complications is colonic perforation. Colonic perforation during PNL is a rare but it may cause dangerous complications. We present here five cases with colonic perforation during percutaneous nephrolithotomy.
