Abstract

The purpose of this study is to statistically analyses the target zones of the strokes in women’s semifinal match of Wimbledon Grand Slam. In the analysis the services, forehand - backhand strokes, time intervals and target zones are taken as parameters. According to the analysis target zones is important parameter in order to win the match. There were no significant differences between forehand and backhand strokes.

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı Wimbledon Grand Slam turnuvası bayanlar çeyrek final maçında yapılan vuruşların istatistiksel analizlerini yapmaktır. Analizler de çeyrek final maçındaki servis atışı, forehand, backhand, zamansal analiz ve bölgesel analizi gibi parametreleri incelenmiştir. Yapılan araştırmaya göre bölgesel analizler maç kazanmak için önemli parametredir. Toplam forehand ve backhand vuruşlarında farklılık olmadığı da yüzdelik olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır.
