Elektronik sigara, toplum sağlığını tehdit eden bir salgın gibi yayılmaktadır. Son bir yıl içerisinde hem yetişkinlerde hem de çocuklarda elektronik sigara kullanımı 2 kat artmıştır. Aynı 1950 ve 1960'lardaki sigara reklamları gibi televizyon, radyo, internet, dergiler ve her türlü reklam araçlarında e-sigara reklamları yer almakta ve mücadele edilmesi gereken çok ciddi bir sağlık tehdidi olarak algılanması gerekmektedir. Bu derlemenin amacı, e-sigaranın sağlık üzerine etkilerinin bilimsel kanıtlar ile gözler önüne serilmesidi
