Abstract

The clinocopathologic features of nine cases of primary gastrointestinal lymphoma treated between July 1999-March 2004 were retrospectively evaiuated. The tumor was located in the stomach and the small bowel was in six (66.6 %) and three (33.3 %) patient.Ali patients were operated. Although the recent literature suggest that gastric lymphoma is being operated electivelly but small bowel lymphoma are seen frequently with complications. The mean follow up period in this series (12 months) was short with respect to making definite conclusions , but the survival rate in patient with primary gastric lymphomas(%83.3) was higher than patients with primary small intestinal lymphomas(%33.3). The authors opinion is that advanced and complicated disease resulted in the lower survival rate in the patients with primary small bowel lymphomas.

Özet

Hastanemiz 2. Genel Cerrahi Kliniği'nde Temmuz 1999-Mart 2004 tarihleri arasında ameliyat edilen 9 hastanın geçmişe dönük taraması yapıldı.6 hastada mide (%66.6), 3 hastada ince barsak (%33.4) tutulumu izlendi.Bütün hastalar ameliyat edildi(%100). Günümüzde mide lenfomalarında planlı ameliyatların giderek artmasına rağmen ince barsak lenfomaları sıklıkla komplikasyonlarla karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Takip süresinin kesin bir sonuca ulaşmak için kısa olmasına rağmen (ortalama 12 ay) sağ kalım oranı mide lenfomalı olgularda yüksek (%83.4),ince barsak lenfomalı olgularda düşük (%33.3) bulunmuştur.Bunun hastalarda ileri evrede yada koplikasyon gelişince cerrahi tedavi uygulanmasından kaynaklandığını düşünmekteyiz.
