Abstract

in the 3rd Surgery Department of SSK izmir Education Hospital we performed 24 colostomy closure between 1997 and 2002.19 (79%) ofthese patients were male and 5 (21%) of them were female and the average age was 57. 14 (58%) of colostomies were closed intraperitoneally and 10 (42%) cases ekstraperitoneally (simple loop closure). We observed at 9 (37,5%) patients eariy complications. These complications were 5 wound infections, 2 atelectasis, 1 anastomotic leak and 1 wound dehiscence. We had no mortality related to the complications.

Özet

SSK İzmir Eğitim Hastanesi, 3. Cerrahi Kliniğinde, 1997-2002 yılları arasında kolostomisi kapatılan 24 olgu retrospektif olarak incelendi. Olguların 19'u (%79) erkek, 57 (%21) kadın olup yaş ortalaması 57'dir. Olguların 14'ünde (%58) intraperitoneal kapatma, 10'unda (%42) ekstraperitoneal (basit loop) kapatma yapıldı. 9 (%37,5) olguda posoperatıf erken dönemde komplikasyon görüldü. Bu kompilikasyonlar; yara enfeksiyonu 5 (%20), atelektazi 2 (%8,3), anastomoz kaçağı 1 (%4,6) ve eventrasyon 1 (%4,6) olguda görüldü. Mortalitemiz olmadı.
