Abstract

It was reported that flora and fauna diversity increased with constructing block, module and systems from, various materials in artificial reef applications. Recently, materials have used for artificial reefs are concrete, steel, rocks and plastics. It is possible that produces in different design or using these materials directly. Design opportunity, availability of production, deployment and transport, positive reactions of fishes and growth of flora made all these materials preferable for constructing artificial reefs.
