Abstract

A case of coronary embolism in a 54-year-old man with St. jude mitral valve replacement who presented acute myocardial infarction was presented. Urgent coronary angiography revealed an embolus in the proximal part of the left anterior descending and ramus arteries. After initial attempt to retrieve of the emboli via angiojet thrombectomy system failed, a combined regimen of half-dose tPA and tirofiban were given intravenously. Complete resolution of the emboli was achieved.

Özet

Bu olgu bildirisinde akut miyokard infarktüsü ile başvuran St. jude mitral kapak replasmanlı, 58 yaşında erkek hasta sunuldu. Acil koroner anjiografide LAD ve intermediyer arterin proksimal kısmında emboli saptandı. Hastada anjiojet trombektomi sisteminin başarısız olmasından sonra, kombine olarak intravenöz yarı doz tPA ve tirofiban tedavisi uygulandı. Embolinin komplet rezolüsyonu sağlandı.
