Abstract

The major complication of thrombolytic treatment is hemorrhage, including gingival bleeding, gastrointestinal bleeding, hematuria, especially intraperitoneal bleeding and intracranial bleeding which may be life-threatening. In the case reported here, hepatic hematoma developed after administration of tissue plasminogen activator (alteplaz) in a 51 years old man with acute anterior myocardial infartion.
