Abstract

Exercise-induced left bundle branch block is a relatively rare finding. Although the mechanism is poorly understood so far, ischemia is mostly accused. A 44-year-old man was admitted to cardiology department with complaint of atypical chest pain. Physical examination, electrocardiogram, echocardiogram and routine laboratory studies were in within normal limits. The patient underwent treadmill exercise test. Four minutes after starting the exercise, LBBB occured at a heart rate off 115 beats/ minute. After he terminated the exercise, LBBB spontaneously ceased. Coronary angiography was permormed five days after the exercise test and revealed coronary plaques and coronary slow flow in a small branch of the septal artery.
