Abstract

Developments have rather been achieved in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension along with the thorough understanding of the pathophysiology of it during the past decade. Although many specific therapies have been developed in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension with the clinical trials, the effects of these treatments on the secondary pulmonary hypertension is still unclear. In this review, specific treatment options of the pulmonary hypertension due to left-sided heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were discussed.

Özet

Son on yılda pulmoner hipertansiyon patofizyolojisinin iyice anlaşılması ile birlikte tedavide oldukça gelişmeler kaydedilmiştir. Klinik çalışmalar ile pulmoner arteryel hipertansiyon tedavisinde birçok özgül tedaviler geliştirilmiş olmasına rağmen bu tedavilerin sekonder pulmoner hipertansiyon üzerindeki etkileri hala net olarak bilinmemektedir. Bu derlemede sol kalp yetersizliği ve kronik obstrüktif akciğer hastalığına bağlı pulmoner hipertansiyonda özgül tedavi seçenekleri tartışılmıştır.
