Abstract

We report a case of patient who presented to our clinic because of decreased vision. Fundus examination revealed soft exudates, diffuse macular edema, optical disc edema, venous dilatation, hemorhages and macular star in both eyes. These findings were consistent with high grade hypertensive retinopathy. The patient was referred to internal medicine department and was taken into hemodialysis program with the diagnosis of chronic renal failure. After hemodialysis, the vision increased and fundus findings were regressed.
