Abstract

Keratoconus is a clinical entity which can be together with multiple disorders in the literature. 32 year-old man who appealed to our clinic with progressive visual disturbance and nystagmus was diagnosed as keratoconus with ophthalmologic examination. Averaged K values in corneal topography were 54.15 D and 48.74 D in the right and left eyes suggesting keratoconus, other ophthalmologic examinations revealed nystagmus, translucency of iris and foveal hypoplasia, peripheral hypopigmentation with dilated fundus examination and this apperance was consistent with ocular albinism. Although coexistence of keratoconus and oculocutaneous albinism cases exists, there is no report about ocu- lar albinism with keratokonus. With this case report we take attention togetherness of keratoconus and ocular albinism.
