Abstract

We present a case of aseptic meningitis due to vaccine poliovirüs type 1 in a three-year-old female child with scurvy. This association, which has not been described before, may be caused by the altered immunity due to scurvy.

Özet

Üç yaşında skorbütlü bir kız çocukta tip l aşı poliovirüsüne bağlı bir aseptik menenjit olgusu sunuyoruz. Daha önce tanımlanmamış olan bu birliktelik skorbütin bağışıklık sisteminde oluşturduğu değişiklikler sonucu ortaya çıkmış olabilir.
