Abstract

65-year-old patient was admitted with the diagnosis of urinary incontinence and total prolapsus uteri. Physical examination revealed urinary incontinence with minimal stress and residual urine volume of 200 cc.Electromyographic examination showed the absence of detrusor muscle activity and prolongation of peripheral nerve transmission. The symptoms of urinary incontinence were associated with the urethral sphincter dysfunction due tolower motor neuron transmission failure.
