Abstract

Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) is an evidence-based method. Findings of research show that DTT provides improvement in the skills for a large number of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The purpose of this study was to investigate the implementation process of the DTT method with a child with ASD and his mother. Data were analyzed through inductive analysis. Findings indicate that the implementation process of the DTT was conducted with a small modification. Also, some changes were observed in participants. The findings were discussed in terms of implications for instruction and future researches.
