Abstract
The purpose of this study is to state the evaluation of teachers opinions as to acquisition of curriculum for science and technology courses at the 6th , 7 th , and the 8th grades. In the frame of these ideas, our aim is to examine in detailed as to the status of the class that the teacher teaches, the last completed school / training program, the number of the students in the class, the participating in the new primary education programs, adequate acknowledge situation about science and technology program in the seminar they attend, reviewing the new state of Science and Technology Education Program and whether there are any differences between the opinions of acquisition for Science and technology Program of 2005, according to the where he/she accessed to the program. The study group consists of 68 teachers who teach Science and Technology Course in 6 , 7th and 8 grades in 85 elementary schools in 2009-2010 academic year in Erzincan province, town and villages. In the study, a scale, which was developed considering the purpose, content, acquisition, evaluation and the size of the relevant literature, was used, called Investigation of Teacher Opinions for the Science and Technology Education Program. Analysis of data collected in this research has been done by the computer package SPSS for Windows 12:00. Bu araştırmanın amacı, İlköğretim 6.7.8. sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretim Programının kazanımlarına ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemektir. Bu görüşler çerçevesinde, öğretmenlerin okutmuş olduğu sınıf durumu, en son bitirdiği okul/öğretim programı, sınıf mevcudu, yeni ilköğretim programları tanıtım seminerine katılma durumu incelenmiştir, Yine katıldıkları seminerde Fen ve Teknoloji programı hakkında yeterli bilgilendirilme durumuna, yeni Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretim Programı’nı inceleme durumuna ve programa nereden ulaştığına göre2005 tarihli fen ve teknoloji öğretim programının kazanımlarına ilişkin görüşleri arasında fark olup olmadığını ayrı ayrı incelemektir. (Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 2009-2010 eğitim öğretim yılında Erzincan il, ilçe ve köylerindeki 85 İlköğretim okulunda görev yapan; 6. , 7. ve 8. sınıfları okutan 68 Fen ve Teknoloji Dersi öğretmenlerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada verilerin toplanmasında araştırmacılar tarafından Fen ve Teknoloji dersi amacı, içeriği, kazanımları, değerlendirme boyutları ile ilgili literatürde göz önünde bulundurularak geliştirilen ‘Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretim Programına İlişkin Öğretmen Görüşlerinin İncelenmesi adlı ölçek’ kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan verilerin analizleri bilgisayarda SPSS for Windows 12.00 paket programı ile yapılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma hesaplanmış; Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskal-Wallis testi uygulanmıştır. Öğretmenler İlköğretim 6.7.8. sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretim Programının kazanımlarına ilişkin genel olarak olumu görüş bildirirken sadece toplumun gereksinimlerini karşılama konusunda bazı öğretmenler olumsuz görüş bildirmişlerdir.
