Hz. Peygamber‟in aile hayatını öğrenmek ve eşleri hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak, aile hayatının örnekliğini anlamada insanlığa yardımcı olacaktır. Hz. Peygamber‟in en genç hanımı, “Mü‟minlerin annesi” Hz. Âişe hem ahlak, fazilet ve takva bakımından hem de ilmî anlamda tüm çağların hanımlarına örneklik teşkil eden bir şahsiyettir. Ayrıca Hz. Âişe İfk Hadisesi, Îlâ ve Cemel Savaşı gibi olaylar sebebiyle İslâm tarihinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu sebeplerden dolayı Hz. Âişe hakkında pek çok eser kaleme alınmıştır; araştırmalar yapılmıştır. Çalışmamızda, Hz. Âişe ile olarak yapılmış araştırmaları bir arada vermek suretiyle ilgi duyanların dikkatine sunmak ve Hz. Âişe hakkında yeni çalışma başlıkları için bir fikir oluşması hedeflenmiştir
