Abstract

Seclusion is described as the disciple‟s giving himself worship in a certain space and time in order to avoid sin and worship better as he has entered into the path of the journey. People of sufism also deal with this subject and dwell on those issues such as the preparations the disciple should make before seclusion, the features of the space the disciple enters into seclusion, the worships he will make during his seclusion and the rules he should obey. Muhammed b. Hasan es-Semennûdî also deals with the subject of seclusion in his works that give important information about the rules and conventions of the cult. Semennûdî gives information in his works about the issues the disciple should make before entering into the seclusion, the features of the space to be entered into the seclusion, the worships the disciple makes during the seclusion, the morals he should obey during the seclusion, the memoirs coming into the heart of the disciple during the seclusion and the ways of salvation from those.

Özet

Halvet, seyr u sülûk yoluna giren müridin, günahtan korunmak ve daha iyi ibadet etmek için, belirli bir mekânda belli bir süreliğine kendisini ibadete vermesi olarak tarif edilir. Tasavvuf ehli de eserlerinde bu konuyu ele almışlar ve halvete girecek müridin halvetten önce yapması gereken hazırlıklar, müridin halvete gireceği mekânın özellikleri ile müridin, halveti boyunca yapacağı ibadetler ve uyması gereken kurallar gibi hususlar üzerinde durmuşlardır. Muhammed b. Hasan es-Semennûdî de tarikat âdâb ve erkânı ile ilgili önemli bilgiler verdiği eserlerinde halvet konusunu ele alır. Semennûdî, eserlerinde, müridin halvete girmeden önce yapması gereken hususları, halvete girilecek mekânın özellikleri, müridin, halvet esnasında yapacağı ibadetler, halvet esnasında uyması gereken âdâb ile halvet esnasında müridin kalbine gelen havatır ve bunlardan kurtulma yolları ile ilgili bilgiler verir
