Abstract

Forty six years old female patient admitted to clinic with painless vision loss in the right eye. Best corrected visual acuity was counting fi ngers at 1 meter. In her fundus examination, retinal detachment with two tears was observed. Uncomplicated cataract surgery and pars plana vitrectomy was performed and silicone oil was used as an internal tamponade. Postoperative on the second day, toxic anterior segment syndrome was observed.

Özet

Kırk altı yaşında kadın hasta sağ gözde ağrısız görme kaybı nedeniyle kliniğimize başvurdu. Hastanın en iyi düzeltilmiş görme keskin- liği 1 metreden parmak sayma düzeyindeydi. Fundus muayenesinde iki adet yırtık ile beraber retinanın dekole olduğu izlendi. Hastaya komplikasyonsuz katarakt cerrahisi ile birlikte pars plana vitrektomi uygulandı ve tampon madde olarak silikon yağı kullanıldı. Cerrahi sonrası ikinci günde hastada toksik anterior segment sendromu geliştiği izlendi.
