Abstract

Atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) is the most common form of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. This arrhythmia is treated safely and effectively with radiofrequency catheter ablation techniques. Although it is usually benign, hemody-namically well tolerated arrhythmia rarely, cases with hemodynamic impairment have been reported with this arrhythmia. In this report, we present a 74 year old female patient with unusually fast heart rates during AVNRT causing syncope.

Özet

Atriyoventriküler nodal reentrant takikardi (AVNRT) en sık görülen paroksismal supraventriküler takikardi tipidir. Bu aritmi günümüzde radyofrekans (RF) kateter ablasyonuyla etkili ve güvenli bir şekilde tedavi edilebilmektedir. Genel olarak iyi tolere edilen bir aritmi olmasına karşın nadiren hemodinamik bozulmaya da yol açtığı bilinmektedir. Bu yazıda olağan dışı bir şekilde hızlı (250 vuru/dk) olup senkoba yol açan 74 yaşındaki AVNRT 'li bayan bir hastayı sunuyoruz.
