Abstract

Idiopathic hypoparathyroidism is a hypocalcemic disorder with low or normal serum parathyroid hormone. The disease clinically characterised by the presence of tetany, cataract and basal ganglia calcification. The pathogenesis of idiopathic hypoparathyroidism is unclear. We presented a young case of Idiopathic Hypoparathyroidism case with bilateral cataract.
