Abstract

Ductus venosus connects intraabdominal umbilical vein to inferior vena cava. Absence of ductus venosus may exists with cardiac, extracardiac, or chromosomal abnormalities. Opening site of umbilical vein is important in the absence of ductus venosus. Diagnosis of absence of ductus venosus can be made by fetal colour Doppler ultrasound. We presented a patient whose umbilical vein opened into portal sinus in the absence of ductus venosus.

Özet

Duktus venozus intraabdominal umblikal veni vena kava inferiora bağlamaktadır.
