Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışma, hemşirelik bölümü öğrencilerinin manevi destek algıları ve etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Bu çalışma tanımlayıcı bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın evrenini Akdeniz bölgesinde yer alan bir ildeki üniversitenin 2016-2017 öğretim yılında sağlık yüksekokulunda okuyan tüm hemşirelik bölümü öğrencileri oluşturmuştur. Veriler anket tekniği ile 1-31 Nisan 2017 tarihleri arasında araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 323 hemşirelik bölümü öğrencisine ulaşılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Manevi Destek Algısı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler SPSS-21 paket programı kullanılarak, tanımlayıcı istatistiklerin yanı sıra Kruskal Wallis ve MannWhitney U testleri analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin yaş ortalamasının 20,86±1,84 olduğu, %65,3’ü kadın, %96,6’sı bekar olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğrenci hemşirelerin manevi destek algılarının toplam puan ortalamasının yüksek (52,02±6,99) düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin %58,8’i manevi bakım kavramını daha önceden duymuş olduklarını/bilgileri olduğunu ve %75,2’si eğitim gördüğü bölümde manevi bakımla ilgili olarak eğitim/ders almak istediğini belirtmiştir. Sonuç: Hemşirelik öğrencilerin manevi destek algı düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu görülmektedir.
