Abstract

This incubation study investigated the effects and interactions of ammonium and potassium fertilization on their fixation by soil. Fixation of the ammonium or potassium increased when applied alone, which however making the other more available. In this case, increase in the fertilizer dose resulted in increased fixation. When the fertilizers were applied together, the potassium fixation was greater than that of ammonium. When compared with the single application, the amount of ammonium fixed by soil was less, and that of potassium remained similar.ln case of applying the ammonium first and the potassium ten days later, or vice versa, the fixation of potassium was not statistically altered. On the other hand, applying the potassium first significantly decreased the ammonium fixation Experimental results have shown that application of first potassium than ammonium to a soil might reduce the fixations of these ions if the priorty of fixation of potassium or ammonium is not crucial.

Özet

Bu çal ışmada toprakta amonyum ve potasyum fiksasyonuna amonyumlu ve potasyumlu gübrelemenin karşı l ı kl ı etkileri inkübasyon çal ışmas ı yap ı larak ara şt ı rı lm ışt ı r.Bu gübrelerin topra ğ a tek başları na verilmeleri amonyum veya potasyumun fı ksasyonunu art ı rm ış ancak diğer iyonun yaray ış l ı l ığı artm ışt ı r. Doz art ışı na bağ l ı olarak fiksasyon da artm ışt ı r. Amonyum ve potasyumlu gübreler topra ğa birlikte verildiğ inde; potasyum fiksasyonu amonyum fiksasyonundan yüksek bulunmuştur. Fiksasyon tek baş ları na uygulamalara göre amonyumda azal ı rken potasyumda fazla değ işmemiştir.Önce amonyumun topra ğ a verilip on gün sonra potasyumun verilmesi veya tersi uyguland ığı nda, potasyum fiksasyonu aç ı s ı ndan herhangi birisinin önceli ğ i istatistiğ i olarak önemli bulunmam ışt ı r.
