Tarımsal araştırmaların değerlendirme aşamasında yapılan bazı hatalar, çok iyi planlanmış ve yürütülmüş olan denemelerde sağlıklı olmayan yorumlara neden olabilmektedir. Uygulamada görülen yanlışlıklar genelde faktör çeşit niteliğindeyse uygun test yönteminin seçilmemesi, faktörün doz niteliğinde olması durumunda ortogonal karşılaştırmanın yapılmaması nedeniyle tam ve gerçekçi olmayan yorumlara gidilmesi şeklinde özetlenebilir. Bu yayında aynı örnekte değişik test yöntemleri karşılaştırılarak, uygulamada sıklıkla yapılabilecek hatalar vurgulanmıştır.
