Abstract

Emergency departments are front line for hospital and community-based care in the Covid-19 outbreak. Emergency departments are critical to both the detection and management of COVID-19 suspected cases and to continue the diagnosis and treatment of other medical emergencies. Therefore, reorganization of emergency services becomes a necessity to meet the changing needs. In this article, we aimed to focus on emergency organization and patient management processes in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Özet

Covid-19 salgınında acil servisler, hastane ve toplum temelli bakımın ön saflarında yer almaktadır. Hem COVID-19 şüpheli vakaların belirlenmesi ve yönetimi hem de diğer tıbbi acillerin tanı ve tedavi sürecinin devam ettirilmesinde kritik bir öneme sahiptirler. Bu nedenle, acil servislerin değişen gereksinimleri karşılamak için yeniden organize edilmesi zorunluluk haline gelmektedir. Bu makalemizde, COVİD-19 pandemi sürecinde acil servis organizasyonu ve hasta yönetim süreçlerine odaklanmayı amaçladık.
