Abstract

This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of studies on the escape room method in nursing education. The data was obtained from the Web of Science database using the keyword “escape room”. A total of 508 studies were reached and 85 studies that met the inclusion criteria were examined. Data analysis was done with the VOSviewer 1.6.20 program. It was determined that research on the escape room method in nursing education was carried out by 247 authors and 37 institutions from 10 countries. It was determined that the first publication in this field was made in 2018 and most publications were made in 2021 (n=28). Carmen Ropero-Padilla and Guadalupe Molina-Torres are the most productive authors in this field, while Spain and the United States of America are the most productive nations. The University of Granada, and the University of Almeria are the most productive institutions. As a result of the research, quantitative findings were obtained, such as gaps in the literature in this field, weak and strong research areas, collaboration networks, and potential opportunities.

Özet

Araştırmanın amacı, hemşirelik eğitiminde kaçış odası yöntemi ile ilgili çalışmaların bibliyometrik analizinin yapılmasıdır. Veriler “kaçış odası” anahtar kelimesi kullanılarak Web of Science veri tabanından elde edildi.
